Brotherhood

Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity is a brotherhood of respect. In 1989, our National organization revoked the practice of pledging, because we believe that a pledge is a type of second-class citizen who must earn his rights. In ZBT, when you accept your bid you become a brother, not a pledge!

Brotherhood is what separates the fraternity experience from other clubs and organizations. When you join ZBT, you become part of a family, not just a "bunch of guys." Brotherhood is one step beyond friendship. In it, lies the comfort of knowing that no matter what happens, your Brother will be there for you to rely on. In return, he asks nothing but your friendship. ZBT will provide you with the support in school, connections with businesses nationwide, experience in dealing with people, and the best times of your life. ZBT has many different times to bond with your brothers. Brothers every year go on a camping trip and also participate in every intramural sport. Also every week brothers get together to go out to eat and play some sports. With the largest number of active brothers of any fraternity on campus, you get the chance to meet many different kinds of people. We are a diverse group of students that have many different beliefs, majors, and backgrounds. The friendships made through ZBT will not only be your best, but they will last for the rest of your life.
